School Improvement
The Stranton Academy Trust has a wealth of Outstanding staff who can offer educational support and School Improvement Services to Schools both within, and external to, the Trust.
The Executive Headteacher of the Trust is a National Leader of Education and additional to this, works as a Leadership Coach for Ambition School Leadership - offering mentoring and coaching support to School Leaders in both the Primary and Secondary Sector.
Throughout the Trust, the Academies can draw upon the experience of 3 SLEs ( Inclusion, Numeracy and Assessment) to develop educational practice within our classrooms, whilst also offering an 'outreach' service to other schools in the Local Authority and further afield.
Headteachers of both Stranton Primary School and Eskdale Academy have a wealth of experience of School Leadership and a proven track record of successful change management and transforming schools.
The Stranton Academy Trust is very fortunate to have a working relationship with three external School Improvement Partners who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from their time working at the National Strategy. Gill Hunter and Sarah Fuller both act as Educational advisors to the Trust and have played key roles in the vast improvements made to Schools within the Trust over the past few years. In September 2017, Catherine Hayes joined the Trust as an external School Improvement Advisor - bringing with her a wealth of School Leadership experience in the North West and working for PIXL.
